The Urban Design Project aims to create a smooth and inviting connection between the street-level promenade and the ghats by carefully planning the walkways and access points. The design brings together both religious and everyday social activities by including spaces like havan areas, pavilions, and rooftop cafés that encourage people to gather and engage with the space. A major goal of the project is to enhance visual connectivity, make the ghats more accessible for everyone, including people with disabilities, who currently face significant challenges reaching these areas. The plan also focuses on strengthening the connections between the temples spread across the site, using pathways and thoughtfully designed public spaces to link them in a way that feels natural and welcoming.
