Envisioning a Liveable City - Ahmedabad Development Plan

Liveable Ahmedabad 2041 is a compact Development Plan prepared as part of the CEPT University Development Plan Studio. Building on a shared Existing Situation Analysis, this portfolio presents a set of strategies to address Ahmedabad’s urban challenges through compact growth, sustainable mobility, green infrastructure, and inclusive zoning. Organized around four pillars - BREATHE, MOVE, LIVE, and CONNECT - the plan shifts focus from expansion to optimization. It proposes a sustainable and equitable future for Ahmedabad by enhancing existing assets, improving connectivity, and embedding sustainability at the core of urban development.
