Ahmedabad is ready for a major transformation. With India set to complete 100 years of independence in 2047, this project looks at how the city can grow smart, inclusive, and sustainable. The Development Plan 2047, prepared for the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA), aims to make Ahmedabad a better place to live, work, and visit. It uses the upcoming 2036 Olympic Games to improve the city’s transport, environment, and economy in a phased strategy. While planning for the future, the project also respects the city’s rich history and culture. The plan offers clear ideas and steps to help Ahmedabad grow into a greener, more connected, and globally known city by 2047.
