Urban Threads : Streets and Blocks

The studio is divided into three exercises focused on urban streets and blocks. The first involved a case study of Church Street, Bengaluru, which stands out as one of the best examples of a safe and futuristic pedestrian-friendly street. The second exercise focused on the upcoming commercial node at Shyamal Cross Road, which was analyzed and designed using various placemaking strategies. The third exercise involved designing an urban block adjacent to the Lemon Tree Hotel, Ahmedabad, using both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
