Delhi 2041: Urban Visioning for a Sustainable Future

This studio project reimagines Delhi as a sustainable, connected, and inclusive city through integrated interventions in Mobility, Housing, Zoning, Development Control Regulations (DCR), Climate Resilience, and Costing. It proposes a hierarchical road network, transit-oriented development, inclusive housing strategies, and flexible zoning to accommodate diverse urban needs. Emphasis is placed on walkability, non-motorized transport, and blue-green infrastructure to enhance environmental performance. Pilot interventions in Shahjahanabad, Okhla, Narela, and LDRA demonstrate context-specific solutions. The project aligns physical planning with ecological and socio-economic priorities to ensure a more Connected, Inclusive, and Sustainable Urban future for Delhi.
