Delhi 9.O: Liberalized Renaissance

The project involves the preparation of a statutory Development Plan (DP) for Delhi with emphasis on long-term spatial development, infrastructure planning, and sustainable urbanization. The studio exercise involved detailed analysis of the current situation, land suitability, and population trends, and then the preparation of a vision and concept plan. Liberalized zoning, green-blue infrastructure, heritage protection, and inclusive mobility were given priority. Proposals covered road networks, social infrastructure, and heritage areas, backed by phased implementation and costing. The exercise provided hands-on exposure with statutory planning instruments, promoting integrated, participatory, and resilient city development strategies for Delhi's future.
