Design of Roofing System for Football Stadium

The project involves the design of a partially covered football stadium using steel as the primary construction material by following FIFA guidelines. Multiple design iterations were carried out to determine the optimal angle of inclination for the frame and roof members. A non-linear P-Delta analysis was conducted to accurately assess the structural behavior of the system. The design of the structure is done for all strength and serviceability combinations for steel as per Indian standard. The design involves all structural elements, including the baseplates and foundation for the substructure.
