Seva: An integrated primary healthcare & wellness model

The pilot responds to the pressing need to bridge the gap between primary urban health demands and infrastructure planning. Despite the presence of multiple service providers, the lack of coordination and uneven distribution limit the effectiveness of primary healthcare delivery. This model explores spatial strategies and innovative service mechanisms such as mobile health units, day care centers, and decentralized centers to improve access and efficiency. Aligned with national health missions and global development goals, the proposed framework seeks to inform future policy and investment decisions—ensuring that healthcare delivery in Surat is not only accessible but also inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable.
