This project explores two contrasting urban corridors: Mahalaxmi Char Rasta to Paldi Bus Stand as a transit-driven street, and the road to Sidi Saiyyed Jali as a heritage spine. Both suffer from vehicular dominance, poor pedestrian infrastructure, and fragmented public spaces. While the former focuses on enhancing mobility through bus corridors and foot overbridges, the latter emphasizes cultural revival by reconnecting heritage with public life. The insights highlight the need to balance functionality and identity—designing streets not just for movement, but as living urban experiences that reflect local history, support informal activity, and foster a strong sense of place.
